COVID-19 and Soccer Tournaments
Despite the CDC guidance and efforts over the past several years of curbing the pandemic, COVID-19 still remains a concern among many communities. Being an outdoor sport gives soccer an advantage many other sports don’t enjoy.

We all want to stay safe for the 2023 season, yet we want to play soccer. By a lot. While I’m confident the soccer tournament community will continue to adapt with creative ways forward to play safely, I am also sure there will be some challenges. We’re here to help.

One theme we’re finding is:
Think First Year. Think Smaller. Think Local. (More thoughts about it here.)

Get vaxxed and boosted, wear a mask indoors and wherever the tournament asks, keep your distance and stay safe so we can all get through this together. We’d hate to lose even one soccer player, their fans and supporters to this pandemic.
